It's true ..... I've already booked my cottage for next year! Definitely a change from previous years, this is truly a little beach box cottage. Emphasis on beach! I've stayed ocean front numerous times, but this is truly ocean front. Like, step off the deck and into the water. I can't wait!
Terra Mar has only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, so a house full there, will be 3 or 4 people. Just the perfect size for my needs next year. And, as much as I love Hatteras Island, it is simply too far from areas that I want to explore in depth via photography. Terra Mar is located at MP 2 in Kitty Hawk - now, a day trip to the Northern Beaches won't be such a long undertaking and I'll be handy to the Unpainted Aristocracy along Cottage Row. 
Check out view from the main room. Ahhhh, the glorious ocean at my doorstep! I must admit, I'm not a big fan of wicker furnishings, but it appears to work in this setting. The only problem that I can see is - shall I use the dining room table (the only table, it appears) to dine on or work the inevitable jigsaw puzzle on?
